A video of some women of Indian origin being verbally abused and physically assaulted in the US state of Texas has gone viral on social media. The video shows a woman of Mexican origin abusing and threatening four Indian women in the parking lot of the Sixty Vines restaurant in Dallas. The police have already arrested the woman. The incident happened last Wednesday night. The attacker is a US citizen of Mexican origin. In the video, he is seen asking Indian-American women to return home. The video begins with the words of those women.


While attacking four American women of Indian origin, the woman said, 'These Indian citizens come to America hoping for a better life. You come to our country and want everything for free. I am Mexican American. I was born here.' The police later said that the woman's name was Esmeralda Upton. He is a resident of Plano.


Plano Police Department officers arrested Upton after the Indian-origin women reported the incident to authorities.


According to police, the woman was arrested on charges of assault and terroristic threats.


The victim asked one of the women's assailants for reasons of hatred. He asked, 'What makes you think we're not Americans?' In response, Upton said, 'It can be understood in the way you speak. Because I'm Mexican American and I speak English.'


He continued to use racist abuse. Said, 'If living in India was so great, then why you . . You are in America.'

Democratic Party leader Rima Rasul condemned the video by posting it on Twitter. He said, 'It is very scary. He had a gun and wanted to shoot. Because while speaking English, the accent of those Indian American women was coming from the language of their own country. Terrible incident. This terrifying woman needs to be prosecuted for committing a hate crime.'


According to a police statement, the incident is currently being investigated as a hate crime. Additional charges may be filed in the future.
