Somehow the campus is closed but the students do not stop. Assignments, project submissions, electronic circuit building competitions... so much work! Faisal Imroz, Rana Chandra and Ayman Al Sami, students of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), are busy with this. Create classes, group meetings, presentations and projects. One by one Faisal Imroz said, 'We are studying in the last semester of the university. After a few days, his career began. BBA student Shahida Akhter was talking to Tabassum. He said that they have organized various projects, competitions or cultural programs through online corona. Business Education Teacher. Sayeed Parvez said, "Classes, presentations, regular assignments... special emphasis is placed on keeping students focused during coronation. These are being developed to enable students to face new challenges." At UITS, special emphasis is placed on faculty and student research activities. Students are given the opportunity to publish research articles in Journal of Business Studies, Journal of Science and Engineering and Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences.



University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) was established in 2003. The permanent campus of the university is at Bhatara in Dhaka. Presently 10 subjects are being taught in 4 faculties. University Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohammad Solaiman said, “We are working to ensure that our students have the opportunity to effectively learn the skills they need to face future career challenges.


Even before Corona, we connected with students in class online in various ways. Efforts are being made to develop students' creativity as well as skills. The aim of this activity is to connect with successful professionals and experts as well as inspire students from universities to innovate. University authorities are emphasizing that the studies of students should not be interrupted due to economic reasons due to the corona crisis. Various scholarships as well as financial assistance are provided to motivate the students.


Innovative learning opportunities

Students of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE) Department of Information Technology and Science University are very busy now. They are working on their final year projects. In the meantime, the students got an opportunity to see the project-Electro-Mechanical Ventilator. Abu Bakar Siddique, Adil Adnan, Kazi Emdad, Atiqur Rahman, Mazharul Islam, Shariful Islam Chowdhury and Shobhan Islam made low-cost ventilators. Titumir, a member of the team, said that ventilators used in the treatment of corona are expensive.


Our ventilators are very affordable. I made a ventilator for 18-19 thousand taka. Emphasis is placed on developing practical knowledge of students in all departments of the university. Teachers are focusing on what students are learning in the classroom to solve different problems in real life. So Sheikh Sadi, another student of EEE Department, developed 'Automatic Hand Sanitizing Device'.
