After the first episode aired on HBO's OTT platform, nearly one million viewers watched it. All in all, the beginning is like the beginning. The series is based on George RR Martin's fantasy novel Fire and Blood.


The series is set in the context of 'Game of Thrones' 200 years ago. Naturally, its pictorial has a lot in common with 'Game of Thrones'. Like the previous series, this series is also set in Westeros. At the core of the story is a power struggle. The series began filming in January 2020. The artist selection process started in July of that year. Paddy Considine was cast as King Viserys Targaryen in October 2020. Later, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Emma Darcy and others were added. Among them, Matt Smith as Khal has caught the eye in the first episode. The shooting of the series started in April 2021. After beginning in the UK, the series was shot in Portugal, Spain and Croatia.


After its release, most of the critics praised 'House of Dragon'. The excitement of the fans goes without saying.
